"I attended a 3 day painting workshop with Casey at his studio about four months ago. I wanted to let what I learned sink in for a while before I wrote a review. 

First, the primary experience was awesome. It was a very comfortable, focused, highly informative 3 days. Casey spent a good balance of time demonstrating, answering questions, and giving us each one on one instruction. There was a wide range of skill levels and I believe that everyone walked away with new insight for their personal growth. We also had a great deal of fun.

I went in with two primary learning objectives and was surprised to find that what I really needed to work on was something else entirely. I have been working hard on improving on this area and can absolutely say that it has brought my work to a new level.

Casey's workshop was a defining experience in my art journey and I am excited to go back."

"I cannot adequately say how glad I am that I attended Casey Child's painting workshop. This workshop is exactly what every artist needs to take their understanding of value and color to the next level.  Casey demonstrated and explained key principles as he painted from a live model and left it open for questions as he worked.  Next he had us paint from the same model he had painted from and he went around giving personal instruction and attention. It was so helpful and so many things clicked for me. You will feel of his down to earth nature the moment you meet him. He is incredibly talented at painting AND teaching (not always the case for many artists). Each day I came away excited, encouraged and overflowing with things I learned. Don't be afraid to attend as you will not regret it!"
